This cycle is a collection of miniature songs, that portraits in quick glances different states of beings.

The texts in the three first songs are phonemes, consonants and syllables. Transforming in the fourth movement into speech with a selected fragment from the poem “To her portrait” by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
