The music and sound design for video Resurrections was inspired by Navratil’s idea of phantasmagoric visions, transparency, rationality, violence and fragility. We spoke about the process of making gelatin: one of the essences in photography. I played with the overlapping of sounds and juxtaposition of colours/timbre which is something I do constantly when I create music. Creation of music constellations that juxtapose in the same universe. It was important to portrait the fragility and intensity of the material itself. In this piece I combined pure electronic sounds and acoustic processed instruments such as the bass drum, bells and strings.
