A melancholic tyrant aka tyrannus melancholicus – ‘Sirirí’

Sound installation for 8 small speakers.

Partly lonely and apparently meditative. Brushed on semi open lands with scattered trees, residential areas and along rivers. Captures most of its preys in the air with agile manoeuvres, especially in circular flight returns back to the hanger. To the very large preys shakes them vigorously until stripping them off or strikes them against the ground.
